being that i am the biggest yankee fan in the world... i would tell them that i am strongly praying for all of them, and they will come through and make it to the post season this year. They need to stop looking at their current situation and play like they're 11 games ahead in the AL East than 11 behind. Every game counts!

I havent lost faith, but its hard not to. I think that they are just struggling to get any consistency right now. One game they get great or good pitching and poor hitting like today. Next game they get poor pitching and good/great hitting like last night. Until they get out of that inconsistency they wont get on any big winning streaks. Im also thinking maybe shake the order up a little bit, maybe have Jeter lead off, that way you can maybe get a baserunner on to start the game. Damon and Abreau cant get on base so therefore when A-Rod hits a homerun, its solo. They need to start hitting the long ball and get better clutch hitting as well and the bull pen needs to keep the game close or keep a lead once they get it. I hope that things change and fast....

I’d show them clips from the ’96 season. There were no individuals on that team. They played hard, they played for each other, and they never gave up, even when they were down 2 games to start the series against Atlanta.

Id ask them why they arent playing like a team anymore? With Jorge, Jeter, and Pettitte anchoring the staff, youd think they could get the other guys riled up and ready to play. They need more team players and less one-man-shows.

Non taking part in- Mickey Mantle, he became enormously lots a baseball god and ought to do in basic terms approximately something. He ought to catch, field, hit, run, andm ore. he's my well-liked and in all risk between the terrific yankees of all time. taking part in- Derek Jeter, he's definitely one in all the main grab gamers in baseball and additionally he's a huge fielder. maximum folk criticize his fielding yet while he gets it hit to him, he makes a great play. additionally he has super grab hitting. My 2d well-liked could be a-rod by way of fact he's an marvelous participant and has a stable character have faith it or no longer (i met him before). with a bit of luck he remains with the yanks for a jointly as and with a bit of luck he wins AL 2007 MVP :).

If I was the Boss, I would hire a couple minor league pitchers (they must be under 30) and revamp the NYY bullpen.

Keep giving them more money. They won't play any better, but they'll be happier.
