My mom says she really doesn't have the money and she says it is probably just a picture that someone took of Alex at a game but I found this on The Upper Deck Store on the internet and I think it is really worth something, and if it is not worth a lot now then maybe it will be in the future.

No. The only way a picture of a current player is worth anything is if someone certifies that it was actually autographed. And since A-Rod has so long to go in his career you will be dead before it is worth anything.

You are much better off getting pictures from the internet of A-Rod and keeping them on your computer screen as the background wallpaper.

Absolutely not. There a million pictures of A-Rod, why would any of them appreciate in value. If it were autographed, I'd still say no. How many A-Rod autographs are out there, and how many more decades will he be signing?

If you pay $25, you'll probably lose half of that as soon as you take possesion.

Waste of money. All of it.

If you'd want something to be a collectible in the future I'd highly recommend that you stay away from pictures unless they are signed and authenticated by a legitimate company.

Stick to autographs and specialty baseball cards. (i.e. cards that come from upper deck and such that are short-printed or have a piece of memorabilia included in it.)

No, your mom should "lend" you $25.00 to buy some books
on investing.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Compared to your A-Rod picture turning into a collectible idea, spending/wasting $25.00 on the lottery would be a better "investment".

Good luck to you.

NO, she should not!! You should find ways to raise the money yourself and buy it if you feel it is that good of a deal. You would appreciate it more and would reap the benefits if ever the pic became worth anything.

Chow!!

if you want it use your own money. get a job. stop bumming off of your mom. if she cant afford it then why would you want her to give you money for something that really is just a picture. theres millions of them. if it isnt autographed it wont be worth anything.
