Absolutely the 1991-2004 Atlanta Braves were one of the best franchises in all of sports, regardless of the fact they won only one World Series. Winning a division in baseball over 162 games year after year is a very difficult thing to do and they won 14 in a row! That will never happen again in any professional sports. When you get to the postseason and play a 5 or 7 game series against a good club, sometimes you run into a hot team with hot pitcher(s) and you lose. But winning that many divisions in a row is phenomenal! Plus Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper and Andruw are all locks to be Hall of Famers. The Yankees with their four rings have only two guys (Jeter and Rivera) that are HOFers that were there the whole time.

Probably the best to win it only once. They made it 14 times in a row and they only won once. They have a 1/4 chance from 1991-1993 and a 1/8 chance from 1995-2005 so they go below the percentege chance.

so what are you exactly saying? Yes they had all that talent but didn't win in the 90's much. Only 1995, but look at the yankees, they have all this talent and look where they are. It's not about the team you got, it's about how you use the team you got.

Go Atlanta Braves.

I have followed the Braves since they were in Boston in 1948. I agree with you totally!! They have had MANY best teams that did not get in to, never mind win, the World Series. I still root for them though.

Chow!!

well i think that many years they just lost to better teams and if it wasnt for joe carter they would have had two rings not one... i think they have great young talent now and who knows maybe in a couple of years(if not this year) theyll be back in contention for the championship!go braves!
