First, it's Al KALINE. There are five Klines in major league history, and only one, Ron, played for Detroit (1961-62). KALINE. Get it right. The man is a Hall of Famer, and the most valuable scribble on your ball.

Detroit years:
Cash, 1960-74
Wilson, 1966-70
Guessing here -- Bill Freehan? 1961, '63-76
Lolich, 1963-75

It's pretty certain not to be a 1950s ball, but based upon Wilson's few years in Detroit, it might be from 1968, which is good, as the Tiggers won the World Series that year. The manager was Mayo Smith.

The only HOFer on the Tigers besides KALINE around that time was Eddie Mathews, 1967-68, so having him would be nice (he was finishing out his career, retired after the '68 Series).

Presuming it's a 1968-era ball, other signatures to look for: Willie Horton, Denny McLain (1968 AL CYA winner), Dick McAuliffe, Ray Oyler.
