You would have to say yes. I mean John Maine and Oliver Perez both are below average starting going thru hot streaks and El Duque sux Pedro is old and Glavine is old?

Will the Mets Fall in the NL East?
Who will take over if they do?

Yes, definitely the mets have pitchers who are overproducing. Maine is already cooling off, Perez and Sosa will not conyinue pitching 3 hit shutout ball for the remainder of the season. El Duque and Glavine are old and Pedro will come back worse than ever. Met fans do not have much to look forward to I believe the Mets will fall a little bit later into the season and the Braves will go on to win the division.

John Maine has already started to fall apart. Oliver Perez in no way, shape or form is going to pitch this well for too much longer. He has something like a career 5.50 ERA. Glavine is old and is by no means dominant anymore. El Duque may be over 50 years old according to official documents in Cuba. I wouldn't bet on the Mets in the postseason.

The Mets pitching is actually doing really well this year. The Braves have always been a roadblock for them, but other than that you really have to admire it. El Duque is actually great... what are you talking about.

I though that the pitching would be the Mets downfall this year, but actually i am very pleasently surprised. better than i ever thought!! Go METS!!!!!!!

No, it gets better, Humber and/or Pelfry come back up, and Pedro comes back around Auguest 1st.

Their pitching will hold up without Pedro, and they will win their division.
