Well Riley s I am very glad you asked this question, and I will be happy to answer it! First of all they have not won a world series recently, but there last appearance was in 1991 in which they beat the Atlanta Braves 4-3. Before that they had won a world series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Between the years 1966-1986 They did not win a world series, but in 1965 they at least appeared. I have seen many people say they won on 1965, but they really lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-3. IF you look really far back you will see that they made 3 different world series appearances, but lost them all as the Washington Senoters/Nationals in 1933, 1925, 1924. I hope you have enjoyed my response Riley S. Actually Scratch that they have lost in 1933 and 1925 as the senators, but they won in 1924 over the Giants 4-3.
