playoffs or world series, game 7. Two hall of fame pitchers on the mound (or close). tight ballgame with several great defensive plays, one wierd play (maybe a triple play?). home team wins in the bottom of the ninth after being down one run vs. one of the best closers in the game and score twice to win. how about the 2001 world series...schilling vs. Clemens, 2-1 going intot the ninth inning, M. rivera in to close out the d backs, but they score twice to win on a bases loaded single by Gonzo...Closest thing to perfection you can get! had everthng except a triple play!

Nine innings, some runs score, there's at least one home run, some key strikeouts or double plays, my preferred team wins.

If you want "most dramatic", just review Game 6 of the 1975 World Series.

If you want an ideal baseball game, look for a green field with nine guys wearing white and nine guys wearing gray, most wearing gloves, one with a bat, and four guys in black or blue making the calls.

Baseball, simply, is ideal already.
