This winter I'm taking over the planning of a family ski trip to Vermont. I want to ski Sugarbush and hopefully Mad River but am having trouble deciding which would be cheaper: renting a condo or staying in a hotel (4 people, 5 days, 4 nights). Any other suggestions or specific places to stay around that area?

I have recently begun following the NHL as ice hockey has really captured my attention. I was wondering why "kneeling" is considered a penalty and what it really is?

Also, How does the +/- system for games work as I've seen players have shots on goal and yet get a -ve point for the game. I'd really appreciate help understanding these rules...thanks..

Have every conference champion even the small schools have a lock in the playoffs. Then a committee like in NCAA Basketball choose at least one or two teams from each conference to play in bowl games while the conference champions also play each other. So one bracket would have the Conference champs and another conference would have the non-conference champs. And then the conference champ plays the winner of the loser bracket for the National Championship. Also the teams that did not make the playoffs would just play in normal bowl games.

With Edgar Renteria gone to the tigers, it would be great to see A-rod play shortstop for the braves. but the braves could also use the money to build up there bullpen and starting pitching. what do guys think? spend all the money on one player or use the money to make the pitching better

Both gilbert arenas and caron butler are doing awful. at first they were doing bad in preseason, but i was worried then. but now i really am.. Whats wrong with them? To the Phillies fans, and Astros fans. I am a Phillies fan, and new season ticket holder and i have to say i feel pretty good about bolstering our bullpen with Brad Lidge. We don't have the Cards in our division, and i saw the last Sunday NIght Baseball game last year when they again ran Lidge out of the game, but i feel he should bounce back this season.
