Some examples of a team rebound:

A missed shot goes out-of-bounds before someone can get it.
A missed shot at the buzzer, clock is zero before rebounded.
Free Throw air ball that goes out of bounds.
Shooting foul called on a missed shot.

Basically, at the end of the game, missed shots must = total rebounds, individual + team

end of a quarter u shoot and miss sometimes theyll give it to the closes player to the basket or they just chalk it up to a team rebound depends on what the book keeper wants to put it has thats why sometimes team rebounds are more than the total of the players rebounds also lose balls can do that too
