Slow hockey day, thought I'd "earn" my gold bar tonight. Whenever there's a burning Crosby "e-effigy" here, a lot of Crosby fans cry jealousy on the anti-Crosby's, such as myself. I've always wondered why? What's there to be jealous about?

That I don't have his skills? Okay...he's gifted, way out of my control. Personally, I wasn't even a skater, and I'm sure lots of hockey fans can't skate at all. Also, I don't think I would've made it into the NHL myself anyways. My youth was a little....smokey...and hazy...lol

So...Crosby fans...what are we supposed to be jealous about?

Their "announcing" team is one of the worst I've ever seen on any game. Their field coverage is horrible. Seriously, is anything they do right?

my brother likes to hunt, with bow and arrow which is respectable. i do like to eat meat, i understand the whole circle of life and natural selection philosophy, but i, personally could not kill a live animal. he does make a good point being that he lives in florida. he is going to teach his kids to hunt so that they will not be standing outside of the newly looted wal-mart after the next hurricane saying "what do we do now?"

Im 15 just finished playing jv and im going to be playing varsity next year. Im 5'10 and weigh 165.I max in benching at 225 and i run a 5.0 40.i played fullback and inside linebacker.I didnt start at linebacker because i wasnt that good at it.It doesnt have to do with my speed or strength i just dont have linebacker instincts.this year i played D-line a few times on our scout team and i dominated against our first offense.I always got through the linemen and always made tackles. It wasnt just my speed either.I was able to drive back our 6'5, 275 pound o-tackle whole maxes out at benching at 275.I also have explosion off of the line and each time i played i made the coaches yell at the o-line for not being able to stop me.The only reason y i think i didnt start at d-line this year is because i didnt try d-line untill about 2 or 3 weeks before our last game and the line was already set.I want to play d-line nxt year but i think i am too short to play d-end and too light to play d-tackle.

I never played HS football but I love the sport. Is it possible to play college football without playing any HS football? My friend said HS football isn't that big of a deal.

You wouldn't think it by looking at most of the fighters over there, but steroids are huge in Japanese MMA. This happens because there are virtually no restrictions agains performance enhancers in Japanese fighting, including pro wrestling.

So, do you think Japanese wrestling is as hard up on steroids as the US wrestling industry?

his stats look alright, but had he not been injured this is what it what actually look like. His first season he was on pace for 103 pts(56g, 47a) his sophomore season he was on pace for 125pts( 56g, 69a) third seaon 127pts( 52g, 75a) season after that 129pts( 52g 77a) his fifth season he was on pace for 124pts( 50g, 74a) his sixth season he was on pace for 39g and 53a. Now i dont know about you but that sounds alot like hall of famer type scoring averages, it was his injuries that held him back, and alot of people say he doesn't deserve to be in the HHOF because he never won a Stanley Cup, or his numbers arent impressive enough. The same can be said about Cam Neely too, injury prone, great scoring averages, never won the Stanley Cup, but atleast Lindros wone the Hart Memorial Trophy,. So does Eric Lindros deserve to be in the hockey hall of fame? because atleast he helped his team get to the finals unlike neely( and know i'm not dissing Cam Neely in any possible way, thats for sure)

Personaly I think that magg should win it just becuase of what he did last season. I dont think Arod should win it just becuase hes not the most valuble player. Yanks are stacked with "all-stars". So i think magg should win it.

I think around 20 percent of free agents signed by new clubs actually get what they paid for. It seems most free agents are busts with their new teams, so I wonder why owners keep throwing these big contracts at players with no promise of good results. Dont forget about carl pavano, jason giambi, to mention a few of the busts.

Ok I know we're last, but we if win the rest of the games we will crack top 4. And if you look at Kenny Miller his pace his power and his trickery is right up there with Wayne Rooney and stuff. We got solid defense and in the transfer window we can get someone like Lionel Messi
