Anyone know..I thought I read somewhere they might release a list of players accused of using steriods. Is that just a rumor or will they do it?

The Mitchell Report (the one commissioned by MLB) looking into the allegations of steroid use is expected by the end of the year.
Some names have already started leaking out like Matt Williams and Jose Guillen.

What "they" are you talking about? MLB is never going to release a list of "suspects" - though they might release names of people they've definitively determined as users.

All I know it should be out soon, but first I heard they weren't releasing names but with George Mitchell who knows. Everyday there is more about players who used them before they were considered illegal.

More came out today including Jose Guillen who was found to have purchased $21,000.00 worth from 2002-2005 .

there is no set date but it was said to be after the WS, which is now over but before the new year. so it could be any time between now and Jan 1,2008.

they said when the story first came out between halloween, and christmas, so we should see it very soon
