Im 15 just finished playing jv and im going to be playing varsity next year. Im 5'10 and weigh 165.I max in benching at 225 and i run a 5.0 40.i played fullback and inside linebacker.I didnt start at linebacker because i wasnt that good at it.It doesnt have to do with my speed or strength i just dont have linebacker instincts.this year i played D-line a few times on our scout team and i dominated against our first offense.I always got through the linemen and always made tackles. It wasnt just my speed either.I was able to drive back our 6'5, 275 pound o-tackle whole maxes out at benching at 275.I also have explosion off of the line and each time i played i made the coaches yell at the o-line for not being able to stop me.The only reason y i think i didnt start at d-line this year is because i didnt try d-line untill about 2 or 3 weeks before our last game and the line was already set.I want to play d-line nxt year but i think i am too short to play d-end and too light to play d-tackle.

bro im 15 too and ima be asenior next year, im weak but i get off my stance quick.. if i gain at leat 20 lbs ill be the starting tackle for backside.. dont worry about height, weight might be aproblem here but as long asu got strenght its good. also if u come off the ball first and get lower than the other guy u will either hold him or drive him back, there's no way he can drive u off when u get lower than him.
im 5'8 178 lbs.
it aint about height.. one of our jv dt's is 5'5 190 lbs haha he is a bit fat though but strong as hell.
i woudl play de too but coaches say that we have to be tall hah.

oh ya and the starting jv tight end is 6'2 180 lbs and only benched 135 lbs.. but he was good cause he was quick, so just use ur speed to make up for ur strenght,

i feel you bro, im the lightest defensive tackle and when we do scrimmages against the varsity i go and i usually get pancaked by the guards, which are around 5'10 266 lbs and center is 6'2 234 lbs.
other guard is 6'1 250 lbs..
and the 5'10 dude is fat and strong but runs a 4.7 crazy.

try d line man i think its the best pos in football after center, oh yea if i gain weight i might start at center cause there will be no senior center's next year.

Im 15 and I'm the same height as you and I weigh 160 and I play WR and CB. But I'm a little faster than you, I run a 4.7. Also, my max bench is 195. Besides that, you obviously have natural talent if your able to get by someone that twice your size. If you want to play D line get bigger, but in my opinion I think you could make it. One more thing, that tackle your going up against seems like a bitc* because my friend, who is my age, is 6' 260 and benches 350, if anything your o line needs to get bigger

well im just in 5 grade and play rocket football but ya you should play on D.if your short just grab the 2 linemans sholders and throw 2 the side then sack the qb if you are tall you should just plow through them!

Not sure how your high school is but at your height and weight you would have been far to small even to play CB or S at the high school I went to.
