I play high school football, I'm in my 12th grade year. Due to infraction with coaches i was unable to play, and parents wouldnt let me transfer. I will be attending Grand Valley State next fall, and i have intended to walk-on, what do i need to do now or in later months to make it possible. Thank you

MJ whats up,
First you gotta excuse the negative responses on here, you kind of gotta expect it. Anyhow just to let you know I played college football. I was a 4 year starter on a full scholarship D1. But to answer your question its good that you want to walk on and obviously you know you have to be "coachable" I would tell you to get in the best shape of your life because the odds are against you because you are a walk on. Right Now I'm a free agent waiting for my break and I train myself I have learned a lot about dieting and training. I can definately help you. Oh and anything is possible, a guy that I train his cousin walked on at USC so anything is possible...I see there was a negative response about walkin on to d2 lol try walkin on at USC...Feel free to contact me...More info can be found at my source.

Your going to attend Grand Valley? Yeah walking-on just does not work at GVSU. As you know the Lakers are ranked #1 in the D-II polls and have demolished every opponent they have played except for Saginaw Valley State where they won 21-10. GVSU have also won four out of past the five national championships and have won 37 straight games currently the longest winning streak in all of college football and the longest winning streak in D-II history. Sorry to disappoint you but I cannot see you being a Laker football player next year.

Tipper Bore yes I agree with you but I am saying that I do not see him on the team his freshmen or sophomore year, even though out starting QB Brad Iciek is a sophomore. Do in fact work hard and hopefully you can make the team in my senior year as I am a freshman right now. GO LAKERS!!!

The coach will probably let you walk on and try out, they always need extra bodies early in the year. With limited high school experience I wouldn't expect much though.
