What's so special about the guy? Seriously. Sure his dad was a great racer and a racing legend, but what's so special about him? He barely wins any races and his team has had at least 11 or 12 engine failures this year. Whenever a segment on a sports show is covering NASCAR, it's always about Dale Jr. Oh my god!!! He switched teams and his number. Big woop. So did Mark Martin last year and Dale Jarret and Ricky Rudd.

Several months ago I started running on occasion with a neighbor. Since I have specific goals and am more motivated and push harder, I end up going out alone sometimes. My neighbor saw me out running alone one day and was very standoffish for several weeks. I decided to overlook the behavior, and she has been acting okay just in the past few days. Today, I ran alone again, and she seems hurt and upset. I know she is going through a tough depression, and I try to include her in my runs as my work schedule allows (she never initiates the runs). I'm about to give up trying to include her because the situation is draining me. Seriously, what would you do differently? I am curious to know what others (particularly those who are in similar situations) might do in this situation. Thanks. I now feel like a culprit whenever I go out to run alone!

my grandfather tells me that when he was a kid (hes 83 now) that you could go and purchase a single shot remington or winchester .22 for "five and a quarter" i asked him if he meant $525 and not $5.25 and he meant five dollars and twenty five cents. he also said that for even less you could purchase a mossberg .22, but its accuracy wasnt as good.

is this really true, were they really this inexpensive?

Someone asked a question earlier today (Jeff, it's your favourite person) about the Loonie versus the USD. Basically, the answer was the current CBA wouldn't allow players' contracts in CAD. Now, hypothetically, if the CBA was to end today, can the players have contracts in CAD until the next CBA? At least on the offer table?

I know this would cause all sorts of confusion once a certain monkey is out (don't want to get politics in here) and the USD would be dominant again. But, again, hypothetically speaking.

Lets just skip the whole thing about the crowds noise being ampliphied, causing the Pats to have to do handsignals instead of word of mouth. Which already makes it harder.
But wtf was with the calls the refs made! i think it was like 10 calls for 149 yard for a franchise record yellow flags in a game.
Hobbs gettting pass interferanec, Moss getting pass interferance, illigal formation, some sorta leg whip. And then look at the colts. They got like 25 yards in penelties. Even when THEY were the ones pass interfering and what not. OMG i kid you not if the pats hadent won, the colts would be in deep $H17 for paying off refs. Hense the point of this rant.

For example, if I wanted to know which games John Madden was announcing this year, could I find out?

Its really hard for me to pick a "best" player on the Red Sox, because I feel that they all work together to create an amazing team. Mike Lowell contributed so much to the Red Sox this year which is why he won MVP! The rookies Dustin Pedroia & Jacoby Ellsbury were really inspiring as well, and their fielding was top notch! Papelbon saved SO many games and his pitching was phenominal. Dice-K went strong for multiple innings, and he did a great job during the 3rd World Series game. That's why its so hard for me to pick a favorite player, ha ha=)

So on YOUR favorite baseball team, which player do YOU feel contributes the most to the team?

And who would your two backups be.

Just make sure your leftfielder played leftfield most of his career. Same goes for center and right.
