The movie Lause is referring to is "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and George Lazenby played Bond. Any bond movie with skiing is a good Bond movie...but I digress.
The popular Stem Christie turn (parallel turn) was developed in Norway, as was the Telemark turn. The Christie turn was introduced around 1910. The telemark turn was developed in 1898 by Sondre Norheim.
Prior to the telemark, most skiing was done as a means of transportation (ie Cross-Country). The telemark turn and stem christie, later, revolutionized downhill skiing...practically invented it I should say.
So..I'd say 1898 for downhill. However, XC and ski-jumping go way further back and there are no clear dates.

My english is not well, I am from switzerland...
Skiing started in norway, but it was not alpine skiing, it started with telemark, because they didnt found a possibility to fix the hill on the skis in a propre way, and also because it was easyier to move on flat landscape
Really starting with skiing it was in Switzerland, but not swiss peoples, riche english lords came for skiing holidays to switzerland, but not winterthur, this is aglomeration of zurich and not at all in the mountains, it was in muerren, on the feet from well known eiger, moench and jungfrau on one side, schilthorn on the other side, this mountain was used for a james bond movie in the sixties, that actor which was just one time bond...
So in fact, a man from norway developed the first skis, but english peoples startet to use them for fun and sport, before all the countries in the alps.... funny isnt it?
The exactly year when it came to switzerland I dont know but it was still in the late 18 century
