Minn. Woman Shoots Albino Deer During Opener

(WCCO) On this season's deer opener, a Minnesota woman shot one of the rarest kinds around; an albino deer. Mary Rakotz of Avon got the 6-point buck on Saturday in Mille Lacs County.

She said it was thrilling to see the rare animal, but 100 times more exciting to be able to actually take it home.

"I had heard that it might be in the area, so I thought that here was my chance of a lifetime. So I had to creep a little bit, probably about 40 yards, to get a good place where I could steady myself a little bit. But then I did that and shot and it went right down," said Rakotz.

Rakotz said she isn't sure if she has room to mount the buck, so she's contacted Cabella's to see if they're interested in buying it.

She also said her family and friends are pretty excited for her, and maybe even a little jealous.

With so many of the fans providing each other with illegal streams and always getting their ppvs free? If everyone did that their would be no money grossed and the business would go away! It's time to stop this people. Honestly you are being thieves, and I'm sure if someone stole even as much as 100 dollars from you that you would be mad, but the wrestling business is losing much more. Anyone think that there is a chance in hell that the Vikings can make the playoffs this year? Their defense is solid (sometimes) and they have the best back in the league. I think they could sneak in with a wild card. Your take?

OK, since it's down to basically a 2-man shoot-out between JG and JJ, who will be the first to hiccup and have a bad finish? And how bad will it be? Or will they both continue on as they have all season and whoever finishes ahead of the other at Homestead wins it all? OK, here's my prediction. JG closes it back up at Phoenix and they are only 5 points apart in the finale. In a green-white-checkered, JG slips past the 48 on the final turn, not to win, but to finish ahead of JJ enough to take the Cup by a mere 3 points. How's that sound?
