The knockout was brilliant, but the fight was even up to that point. Personally, I believe Taylor has regressed, but if he learns and follows basic protection rules, doesn't that neutralize Pavlik's basic punch forms?

It seems as if Taylor is gambling with his career and cashing in at this point. The smart thing for Taylor to do at this point is to fight a couple of journeyman boxers before shooting for the moon and taking on Pavlik again. It seems as if Taylor is gambling on the fact he can beat Pavlik in the rematch.

It's too late for Taylor to learn the bascis of boxing he was never taught to begin with. Taylor will have to rely on his reflexes and athleticism to win the rematch, and I don't see that happening.

Taylor can't beat Pavlik. It's as simple as that. They mentioned a possible rematch to Manny Steward at the Calzaghe/Kessler fight, and he didn't look too confident.

pavlick for sure...you really can't compare the heart of this guy to ANYONE else-and when the skill is even ...the heart prevails.
