Honestly, Fabulous Moolah. Benoit and Eddie were great, but they didn't usher a whole gender into wrestling. Without Moolah, there honestly probably would be no Women's Championship, or even Women's division now.

The answer is The Fabulous Moolah.......I have watched wrestling since 1960 & remember seeing Moolah wrestle many times. When Moolah wrestled .....womens wrestling was still banned in the '50s & early '60s in many areas of the US. It was considered to be so unusual for a woman to wrestle then that Moolah was once on a old TV show called " To Tell The Truth " . During the show 3 women ( including Moolah ) identified themselves as The Fabulous Moolah and celebrity panelists asked the women questions and tried to guess which woman was The Fabulous Moolah and what she did for a living ?? At the end of the show..Moolah identified herself as a champion wrestler named the Fabulous Moolah & the audience & panel were shocked to learn that a woman was wrestling....There were others before Moolah...but without Moolah...I doubt that there would be few if any women wrestlers today.

I think Moolah did. She opened a lot of doors for women in the industry. She was the longest reigning title holder in the WWF/E and she also worked the independent circuit to so she could help others just getting started.

I would say Moolah, only because she was a base to the industry and also did work outside of wrestling to promot wrestling.
