The thing is I don't have contacts.. and I need goggles for a swimming club. The store sells goggles, but it won't fit my glasses, and I'm not going to wear those lab. safety glasses.

You can get prescription goggles. They would be more pricey. I found a site that gives searches across multiple brands, but they all seem quite expensive. Maybe you can get cheaper ones at local store.

Lol no, it's impossible. Your goggles are tight around your eyes. There are prescription goggles, but I'm sure that will cost some money. Some of my friends who are swimmers risk wearing contacts with their goggles. Not the safest, but as long as you don't get water in them, you should be fine. If you don't have contacts, I guess you will have to go half-blind (like I did), or get contacts. Glasses are a definite no. Have fun! I love swimming.

You should probably talk to your doctor about that. It really depends how bad your sight is. I personally wear glasses because i have trouble with far things yet i don't need special goggles. But You may just need prescription goggles or just wear contacts.

When I needed prescription goggles as a kid, I got these huge things that all the other kids automatically made fun of me for. Ever since, I just didn't wear anything. I am nearsighted, so I could see the wall in front of me. That's all you need to see really. Otherwise, prescription goggles have come down in price and size lately.

Speedo makes some really great prescription googles for about $20. Do a google search for Speedo Aqua Racer Optical and you'll find them. I highly recommend them and they last a really long time. They look like normal goggles and nobody will even know they're prescription.

most people just don't wear anything...you don't really need to see that much.

someone mentioned above that their prescription goggles were really bulky, but speedo now makes vanquishers (the most popular goggle style) in prescription
and they look completely normal

You could try to get your eye doctor to prescribe you some goggles that are specially made, OR you can use contacts.

Even with the lab goggles, you wouldn't be able to wear your glasses underneath your goggles.

Either get some contacts, or be blind in the water i suppose...
