OK, since it's down to basically a 2-man shoot-out between JG and JJ, who will be the first to hiccup and have a bad finish? And how bad will it be? Or will they both continue on as they have all season and whoever finishes ahead of the other at Homestead wins it all? OK, here's my prediction. JG closes it back up at Phoenix and they are only 5 points apart in the finale. In a green-white-checkered, JG slips past the 48 on the final turn, not to win, but to finish ahead of JJ enough to take the Cup by a mere 3 points. How's that sound?

I'd like to see several hiccups in Phx, 24 and 48..and a Clint Bowyer win...But I still see Jimmie repeating winning it by 6 pts in homestead..

Jeff has already hiccuped, it's just that his team has made the best of two mediocre cars. If Jimmie hiccups, it'll be interesting to see how his team reacts. It'll be tough to do what the 24 team has done with bad cars.

I actually think your prediction is close to what will actually happen. They're going to head into Homestead with 10-15 points separating them. Johnson will have a very bad race at Homestead though, I don't think it'll come down to the very end.

Ya who says it is a 2 way battle. 07 can still win it although a long shot and HMS looks good right now but hey rain can come any day, Look at Tony in Kansas City, he would have been declared the winner had NASCAR called the race but they tried to dry the track and since that didn't go so well Tony had an attitude and should have. SO I see it aint over till the checkered drops.

Jeff Gordon deserves it, but I really hope the whining winner duo bobbles in Phoenix bringing my guy and possibly some others right back into the hunt!

Late edit: Bowyer is the only one mathematically alive as long as Jimmie and Jeff start Phoenix and Homestead.

I believe it is going to be Kevin Harvick he really has figured Phoenix out. And I read on NASCAR that Todd Berrier believes that Harvick's team has really figured out the COT.
