My daughter is 16 years old, and plays highschool basketball.
Last school season her average was 20 plus, a game, her highest was 33 points. She is 6ft 3 inches, and about 250 pds.
She play Center Post, and is a good player. The problem is her Coach gets on her about not running very fast, and complains that she needs to lose weight, and says she runs too slow. My daughter also has fallen arches like me, and is flat foot, and often complains of sore ankles. I've take her to a foot specialist, who recommended physical therapy to build the muscles in her ankles. We have been going there for that.
My daughter Coach is still on her about her running, and my daughter who has had a few colleges looking at her, could get a Basketball Scholarship, but her Coach tells her that the way she runs, that no College is going to take her.
I have been very upset with this guy, me and my husband about what he says to her. MY question is how can we help her to have more energy, and to get in shape?

Seattle outfielder, Ichiro Suzuki was shown cheering wildly for the Seattle Seahawks yesterday. I am sure he grew up cheering Japanese sports teams but has enough class to cheer the local boys. Unlike Lebron, another icon unable to bring Cleveland a title, who wore a NYY cap to Jacobs Field. If anyone does not think this is a question, then just move on. I am just looking for basic input as there was Ichiro - from Japan, no less, cheering for the Seahawks, and I do mean very spirited cheering.

why bother to ask if you are not going to choose a best answer, i can see the occasional question being left for a vote,
also 9 times out of 10 the first question gets voted best anyway, even if it is not the best answer. people just choose the first one

A friend in the states asked me - if a D-22 won't always fire the second barrel she's been told to take 1/32nd of an inch off the top long sides of the ratchet spring to turn it into roughly a wooden spatula shape instead of a rectangle. Anyone done this> Any advice, pictures or schematics that I could send her would be very welcome. Thanks.

The only reason why Kimi won was because Massa let him win. Massa should have won the race, Kimi Second and Alonso third, which would mean Alonso world Champion.

Alonso has had no team mate all year and should have been the Champ, but Massa let Raikkonen take the lead. Totally unfair.

Alonso has been screwed by teammate Hamilton, team McLaren, Ferrari and FIA. Pretty sad.

What do you think would be the best way to manage the Red Sox right now with NL rules. It would be hard to take Youk out of the lineup right now with the way he's hitting. I wish we could move some people around and get lugo out and keep Youk in. I know it won't happen but I wish. Do you think Ortiz is heath enough to play 1st with the knee?

I thought the Steelers should have won that game. That offensive line kills us on penalties and giving up sacks, even though Ben Roethlisberger is improving in avoiding sacks. Why did Coach Tomlin tell Jeff Reed to go for a 65 YARD field goal with like 3 sec. left in the first half?! I would have done the hail mary pass. What would you have done?

Okay I posted a question yesterday and the title was 10 easy points. The question was to predict the score and the winner of yesterday's game 7 and you'll get the best answer and 10 points. Anyway I got reported and I lost 10 points because it was a "violation". How is that a violation? Anyway the reason the guy reported me because the question was too hard.
