the fia has to really shed it's tag of favouring the ferraris. most of its decisions seem to favour ferrari.

So why has the FIA not done anything against Ferrari when they know that the Ferrari team had copies of McLarens car Technical details?
I think that they do back Ferrari. A few years a go when Schewie was driving for Ferrari he ran Hill off the track, but he did not get done by the FIA for that. But if that was to have happened with Lewis or Alonso has ran a Ferrari off the road this year then I would garentee that the McLarens would have been done.
Ferrari are the richest team and pay the most to the FIA so what they say happeneds.

damon is merely following the herd on this issue. the media (and damon) have put themselves in this position by overhyping lewis and now they have to blame everyone else because he did not live upto the enormous expectations. that is the root of these types of comments.

frankly i get tired of this moaning just because the better driver won the championship.

is the fia biased towards ferrari? or is it that ferrari are just better than the other teams at playing the game. courting favour is not contrary to top sporting activity. just look at every other sport the politics are bigger than the sport itself.

face facts - ferrari is better at the game than the others. they always have been. anyway there are other teams who have "got away" with rule irregularities over the years - benetton, mclaren, renault, williams - they've all been there. why then does ferrari alway get pointed out? answer is simple - because they win a lot.

The FIA always backs Ferrari.

Well lets face facts here, the FIA does almost always back Ferrari.
McLaren can appeal as a requirement prior to taking seperate and later legal action.
The stewards dealing with the Williams and BMW issue have plainly ignored the evidence in favour of an outcome that best suits the FIA.
This season has seen a debacle in which the FIA have fallen over themselves attempting to deliver a Ferrai winner.
During certain races this season Ferrari have cheated, Williams have cheated, BMW have cheated, and so has Alonso - and the FIA should have deducted points or disqualified on every occasion.
The only drive in the top six that can hold his head up high is Lewis Hamilton, the very man cheated out of his justified world championship.

I am from the other side of the world and it is plainly obvious that Ferrari, Bernie and Max all sleep in the same bed of deceit. Jackie and Damon are Ex-Champions and I am sure they have a better idea than us armchair critics.

He's just being honest and giving his opinion. But I don't think the FIA were backing Ferrari this year, seriously.

Damon Hill is an *** hole..he should keep his mouth shut as he is just angry that his baby British driver lost ..he has never liked Ferrari and if he is so intelligent then why is he talking such shite....Ferrari and Shumacher have had plenty of penalty...it`s just when Ferrari beat other teams or Ferrari drivers beat others that really gets up people`s noses as they cant handle how good Ferrari is..that is FACT

well when schumacher "parked" the car on the track at monoco ruining alonso's lap, ferrari was penalized,

and after rubens pulled over to let michale by for the win the fia rewrote the rule book

the failed single tire rule was a direct attempt to erode ferrari's advantage, figuring that Michelin's endurance racing
back ground would bring the advantage to them

i think this year was an exercise in desperation on Ron Denise's part, after tasting failure for the last few years, and having two world class drivers ( kimi & jpm) so disgusted they were ready to tell the team were to shove it, just think about how bad a team has to be for one driver to leave to join the enemy, and the other picking nascar over your f1 team,

as the guys on speed t.v said this weekend, hamilton, as good as he is, is proving there is a reason a rookie has never won the championship

If you can come up with a single recent incident where the FIA has NOT found in favour of Ferrari's interests, I'd be quite interested to hear about it. Also you seem too thick to agree your sentence subject 'comments' (plural) with your verb 'confirms' (singular form) - so don't throw stones or your glass house will shatter....
