I know I am. No bandwagon fan here but I am so tired of having my heart ripped out by Cleveland sports teams. The media has tagged the ACLS debacle The Collapse. Will we EVER get a championship team in this city

The Red Sox , don't forget had a long dry season. The fans stuck with them with one word BELIEVE. Baseball to me is Fenway Park and the Boston Red Sox . Don't forget....all is fair in love and baseball........and let the best team win. If the Sox loose we will start all over again next year. Hope springs eternal.

As a life long Red Sox fan, I know how lousy you feel (well, obviously not today, but in the past) but you shouldn't lose heart. At least you are not a Yankees fan. I think Cleveland is going to be strong for at least the next several seasons, so like Manny says "It's not the end of the World."

The people in Boston who cry that it took their team 86 years to win another World Series are missing the point. YOu have the Celtics, Patriots, and Bruins winning numerous World Championships for your city. We in Cleveland have had ZERO since 1964. Of course, we are frustrated. However, this one didn't hurt as much as the Drive, the Fumble, Red Right 88, the Shot, etc etc. because we DESERVED to lose this series. No excuses, no explanations, the Red Sox are better, and I am rooting for them to win the Series(although I probably have very little interest in watching the games).

Hey, no shame this year. Great team, played well, and the national audience got to see them. Cleveland is no where NEAR the Cubs for bad -- nor are they near the RED SOX, either, for that matter. (86 year gap, there.) They'll do better the next time they get in it. Which could just be next year. Hold your head up. The Indians were GREAT.

Had the series finished up the last 2 games in Cleveland, I think the tribe would have won. Good job against the Yankees. The tribe got into the dogfight and acquitted themselves well.

Are you suggesting, that because the Indians won't win the world series this year, that you are disappointed?
Can't you look at their 96 wins, their Cy Young candidates, their MVP caliber people and you are actually disappointed?
If you were winning 7 out of 10 years, I can see it, but be glad of what they did accomplish (a lot) vs. what they didn't (a little)

The Indians time will come, you can't lose faith. You guys were kicking our butts! It just so happens the Sox finally got their act together. The Indians are a great team!

The Tribe had a great year. They have a great team, a great coach, great fans and their future is ahead of them. The Tribe will get their W/S in a year or two and Red Sox Nation thanks them for knocking the Yankees out in round #1 !!
