Seattle outfielder, Ichiro Suzuki was shown cheering wildly for the Seattle Seahawks yesterday. I am sure he grew up cheering Japanese sports teams but has enough class to cheer the local boys. Unlike Lebron, another icon unable to bring Cleveland a title, who wore a NYY cap to Jacobs Field. If anyone does not think this is a question, then just move on. I am just looking for basic input as there was Ichiro - from Japan, no less, cheering for the Seahawks, and I do mean very spirited cheering.

Ichiro has a lot of class and it shows, while LeBron had a lot of class, but it was all lower. He is a great basketball player but should not have insulted the same Indians fans that are his fans as well. I say he should have enjoyed watching his Yankees play but leave the cap at home.

Players can root for any teams that they want. Ichiro wildly root for his hometown NFL team (Seahawks) and it was great. Lebron rooted for his Yankees at Jacobs Field during the playoffs. Lebron should have gone to Yankees' stadium to root for them. It was a profile game and all the lights were on celebrities in the stands. Lebron should have known that wearing the Yankees' hat would become instant news because he wasn't rooting for the hometown team. To some it was poor judgment, to others he was rooting for his favorite team. I just think it was poor judgment.

Did Lebron go to any of the Yankees' games during the regular season at Yankees' stadium???

GO ICHIRO!!!!!!!!!!!

Lebron can root for any team he wants. He had been a Yankees fan since he was a little kid, big deal. This incident has already been talked about ad nauseum. Think of an original question to ask, lame brain.

I agree with you. If Lebron is a Yankees fan (which is weird considering he was born in Ohio and lived there his entire life) then he should keep it to himself. Same with Tom Brady. Bostonians hate the Yankees and he was caught wearing their ballcap. It's fine to like other teams if thats what you choose, but high profile athletes should keep some things like this to themselves.
