The Olympics take millions of dollars to hold, and countries send in their best super-athletes to win. Is it an entertaining peaceful event, or just a big pride-fest opportunity for countries to say, "we're the best"?

I really don't like ESPN, mostly because the place is full of sportscasters that spend way to much time coming up with things like "Call me butter, cause I'm on a roll!". I hate that the coverage is always so impersonal, and they hate the SEC (I could be biased, but I'm an Auburn fan). They are still singing the praises of teams like USC and Michigan, and I don't even know how michigan managed to get ranked again.

I would much rather listen to a football game on the radio than watch it, and fortunately for me, I can get radio coverage for Auburn, Alabama and Georgia. I love to listen to larry Munson(only working part time after calling Georgia games for 30 or so years) and Eli Gould for Alabama because they are just EXCITED about Dawg and Tide (respectively) football. TV announcers just want to see a good game, but they don't care who wins.

Can't we do something to bring back the personal touch to TV announcing?

it's not even being held in Germany or Switzerland which are the most advanced European countries...aswell as Germany being full of frankfurters and litres of wheat beer......but England of all places where everything is tiny, the locker rooms only fitting 25, and a place completely devoid of edible food or decent beer

I was watching some videos . . . I'm just not sure how I feel about layover camels. It's a camel (or back camel) spin but with the head and chest facing UP. It just looks a bit awkward to me.

Do you guys feel that way about any particular move?

No offense to anyone here who like or can do any moves that get listed here . . . just an opinion.

Would you agree with me that a canadian team wold never ever get a chance at getting him even if toronto or edmonton or montreal went 0-82 they still wouldn't get him, because it's all setup to market him for usa adiences, just like Sidney Crosby(did you seriously think he had a shot at going to a canadian team?) I mean look at the past 1st overall picks, whens the last time a canadian team had the first or second overall pick?( gary bettman is an unfair piece of garbage if you ask me, he set's this all up)

Obviously the Seattle ground tends to be fairly sodden. Do all y'all Volunteer/Montlake ultimate folks tend to wear cleats? And if so, if I don't, how much trouble am I in for?

Cheers.

My husband just went fishing with his friend, and they bought the license yesterday because the place was closed today (we live in Germany). If they didn´t go, they would be wasting the money.

It´s snowing outside-would you fish in snow too?
