The Melbourne Kangaroos - two of the most marketable names in Australian football, both going through different hard times at the mo. Might be hard to work cos of the MCC, but would ensure both teams' longterm survival, maintain their traditions and keep the Roos in Melbourne.

A team in Darwin would be a good idea, did you see that game up there between Bulldogs & Dockers this year? Great crowd & atmosphere. If the Roos continue to struggle, I reckon that would be a better option than Gold Coast.

For selfish reasons, Richmond should become the Geraldton Tigers, so I can go to home games......ha ha

I think you could have an all aboriginal team. Just look at the quality they bring into the game already. Just imagine if they formed a team.
They could be located in Darwin considering its got a decent population and will draw crowds. Besides they are the only large state/territory without a team.
They could be called the Northen Crocs or Darwin crocs. An animal that is abundant in the top end of Australia.

I'd merge a couple of struggling clubs, West Coast and Port Adelaide, and move them to Canberra. I'd call them the Power Struggle and their mascot could be an American style thing called a 'hanging Chad' or perhaps a 'Choking Chad'.

They could be sponsored by Coke.

EDIT: Forgot the colours. They'd have to be psychodelic. My vote would be hot pink and avocado muscle shirts with a tie-dye, glitter pattern on the front.

If documents have been the worry-free on my own you ranked the communities suitable. yet once you went by using different ability, SB wins, playoff wins, and consistency, it would be diverse. i think of it would bypass San Francisco 49ers, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Denver, Miami, Minnesota and then Oakland.

personally I think the kangaroos should relocate to the territory, can you imagine how many fans would come to their game - it is an untaped resource in terms of any football teams- afl, league or otherwise.

keep the name but change it to the territory roos... lol

Two new Melbourne Clubs ......East Melbourne .."Tiger Hawks"..and ...West Melbourne.."Roodogs". this would reduce the pressure on Victorian football resources, reducing from 10 clubs to 8. Colours Tiger hawks ..all gold with black hawk , Roodogs...same design as Adelaide, royal blue red and white
