My husband just went fishing with his friend, and they bought the license yesterday because the place was closed today (we live in Germany). If they didn´t go, they would be wasting the money.

It´s snowing outside-would you fish in snow too?

The lake is not frozen, so they are not ice fishing, but regular fishing.

Sure, I've done it and have had some great results, especially if it is an early fall or late spring snow. I've been told that this is because at these times of the year there are insect hatches going on and the snow fall causes an increase in the amount of food available and gets the fish feeding. Kind of makes sense to me. Don't do much in the mid-winter because where I live now, So. Calif., there are warmer places to go then.

I have heard some of the best times to go fishing are when it is snowing outside. Now I live in South Carolina, so that is not often. But fishing on the rivers for trout is productive in the snow.

Last year I went fishing here in the USA in Ky and by the end of the day we had about one inch of snow on the deck of my boat. We also has some nice small mouth to weigh in.
I have also been fishing where there was no snow but the water keep freezing the eyes on my rod closed.
Sometimes fish bite no matter what the comfort zone is for man who seeks to catch them LOL.

I frequently fish in the snow. dress warm and stay dry. Sometimes a rapid cooling of the water brought on by snow melt or heavy snow into a body of water can cause the fishing to slow, as the cold blooded fish have a slowing metabolism.
But hey, I have caught many, many fish in the snow in the Northern Midwest of U.S.
good luck

Yes, I have fished during a heavy snow fall, It seems the fish get hungry no matter what the weather and I have always had luck when precipitation is in the air

Oh yeah, I'm in the boat, with a heater till the ice is thick enough to walk on. Snowing, or raining is some of the best times to be out there

I wouldn't personally, but I live on a lake and I know that there are a few folks around here who do go ice fishing and even have special "ice boats" for winter recreation.

I live in Wisconsin and fish in the snow alot. There are parts of the Wisconsin river that don't freeze over and we fish all year long. I would fish if it was raining fire.
