yes i am afraid kryspy kreme the official donut of the Vol's has lost there best customer, as a Gator fan i am going to be sad to see Phil go, but i really don't think our Vol friends can stand another season like the last few. i guess if they win out and get to the SEC championship he may get a reprieve but after last week it's doubtful, i really thought the Vol's had a real chance to win that game. but it's time for some new blood and before you know it the Vols will be back.

The question is about Fulmer the Donut King, but Just a Stud said the following: "I love southern women. They know how to treat a man. I can look deep into your eyes and see fire and passion. I hope we meet someday."

Is he talking about Fulmer? If so I believe he posted in the wrong section. So Stud, does Fulmer have that fire in his eyes? LOL

Given his longevity and accomplishments at Tennessee, it is going to take a lot to fire Fulmer. I would say he has another two years to get back to being an elite SEC team. The problem with Tennessee is you never know how the team is going to play. They lack consistency and are not competitive in all games.

God I hope so! I'm sure that the other SEC fans will hate to see him go just like I hated to see Zook and Shula get fired. Fans will miss being able to beat up on Tennessee like they have the last few years.

Fulmer has such a good record against Alabama because they have had sub-par coaches and been on probation most of the time.

I wouldn't count on his dismissal just yet. The Vols still have a shot at winning the SEC East. The race in that division is nip and tuck. Their performance vs. Bama baffled me, but I think they're capable of winning their remaining games.

Another pitiful display like the one at 'Bama though, he's probably out.

If they dont make it to a bowl game that will be the end of him or if they make it to a bowl and they geat beat by standford or somebody like that they will consider letting him go.

The problem is who is out there that has his claiber that can replace him?
It would be dumb to let him go and pick up and idiot that will run the program further in the ground.

I think it's bad timing for him. The SEC is loaded with strong teams this year. They have 7 teams in the top 25.

I never understood why they fired the great Johnny Majors and hired Fullmer in the first place.
