1,628 RBI's and .289 BA. Those are very good numbers, much better than Kirby Puckett or Ozzie Smith, and they got in. No one gives much love to Harold, why not? Those are some quality numbers. He could've gotten to 3,000 hits, but his playing time great diminished his last few seasons.

When a team intenually walks a batter. Why does the catcher stand behind the plate with his arm stuck out and the pitcher strows the ball outside the plate. Why don't he just stand outside the plate and play catch with the pitcher for 4 balls.

In some ways he deserves so much respect in other ways ehh... I question it... Ways he deserves it is by of course his overall statistics and being probably one of the top 10 maybe top 5 pitchers everywhere. 2nd he protects his players. It's obvious the Blue Jays were still sore about the Arod yell and threw at him 2 days in a row. I think they are a bunch of wusses for doing it in Toronto instead of doing it the series after the incident in NY but that's another story. I fully support him beaning Rios and a 5 game suspension for a pitcher is 1 start so not much loss there...

Ways I don't respect him... Play a full damn season... pitching half a season and getting paid top 5 in the league is ridiculous..

I guess this is more of a vent than a question, but what are your opinions about him beaning Rios??? Warranted? or what?

I can get WGN 720 while home in chicago, but i have to drive to see some friends tonight. I can sometimes get 720 all the way there, near cedar rapids, but if i can't, is there a sister station out that way that would carry the game?

I'm a little confused. I just read that Clemens and Torre have been suspended - Clemens for five games (he’s appealing) and Torre for one.

In May A-Rod apparently yelled something that made the Blue Jays player miss catching a pop fly. Now they meet again. A pitch is thrown behind A-Rod and later in the game he's hit with another pitch. Clemens retaliates by hitting a Blue Jays batter. Benches clear a couple of times throughout the game; the end result is the suspensions. Did I miss something? I'm not a fan of either team and I haven't seen the replays of any of the pitches. The only thing I've actually seen was the missed pop fly. Sure A-Rod probably yelled something and I agree maybe it is little league, but does that mean the Jays should get 2 free shots at him? I know that refs are trying to keep more control of the retaliations. But how can Clemens get a 5 game suspension if the Jays get two free shots at A-Rod. I’m not taking sides. I’m just trying to figure out why.
