Is this a joke? If it is, then you are very funny! The Sox are first in the American League, and the Devil Rays are dead last. LOL!

The Red Sox. The Devil Rays have been around for 10 years (or someone in there) and they haven't had a winning season. They don't try to field a contending team, and don't spend money on their players. The Red Sox, on the other hand, do overpay some players, but at least their team is a contender

The correct answer is that the question is impossible to answer. Here's why: Tampa is a small market and in a terrible location; they can't draw fans and have very little revenue so they can bring in pitchers they need to contend. They have the best talent in the league offensively and they haven't even reached their potential they are exciting to watch but why waste the money on a ticket to watch a team lose cause they have no pitching. On the other hand you have the Red Sux. The curse by-the-way didn't end (one ring in 80 years is still a curse) however they have an iconic stadium. Have legendary players retired, a large market. International players of high repute and charge more for tickets to a stadium that draws sell outs. They can afford the pitching needed and their pitching is the sole reason for their record this year. Oh and by the way, there's a solid chance they won't make the playoffs AGAIN!!!

That's like asking "would you rather eat dog crap or pizza?" You are comparing a team who has finished last in its division all but one season since it's inception to one that is always fighting for first and is a front runner for the best record in the bigs this year...I would say the Red Sox are pretty much always going to be better than the D-Rays.

are you kidding me?
boston has been a solid team for over a hundred years. it has a better team, better fans, and a way better atmosphere for baseball.
tampa bay has never even had a winning record in its 16 year career.
tough choice but i would go with the bosox
