If the Arena League starts a franchise named the Browns and their championship game is renamed the superbowl, then no, Quinn still won't get the job done.

Unfortunately it won't happen this year. The good thing is that we are building a core of young players for the Browns future, especially with the offensive line. Quinn will end up starting by the 8th game of the season based on the fact of Frye and Anderson not having the talents that Quinn has. He needs to gain some experience by watching from the sidelines a bit, but believe me, he will take over the offense soon enough and it will be a great thing to watch him grow over the next few years!!

Go Browns

As I lifelong Browns fan I certainly hope so. However I truly doubt it. After attending the Browns draft day party, the general feeling in the room was to not draft Quinn. He is already having to fight for fans.

I truly believe he will be a bust.

However, with each passing year we seem to gain more depth all over the roster.

We are getting there but it will still take some time. I expect a 7-9 or 8-8 record this year.

Not this year. He's a strong quarterback but it takes a whole team to get the a SuperBowl. Until that team is revamped and stronger offense is added, Brady Quinn won't be headed to the Bowl anytime soon.

I am an ND fan. I watched Quinn for four years.
He is a tremendous physical specimen.
But I don't think that Superbowl is in the cards for the Browns in Quinn's playing time with them.

Not no but hell no! He is so overrated it's sick. His accuracy is comical. I think he will be another Ryan Leaf. Sorry, Brown's fans Brady might (I say might very loosely) get you through the first round of the playoffs. Never a Super Bowl. If you can't win bowl games then you're not going to win playoff games. It is simple as that. Although ESPN ripped a lot of teams for not picking him early, you have to believe that scouts knew he wasn't going to amount to much.

No worries though. You'll have another early first round pick in the upcoming years. Maybe the Browns will pick Clausen when he is eligible for the draft. Wouldn't that be funny!

Brady Quinn is good, but it will take a few years for that to happend.

He might not lead them to a winning season either.

No...brady will be a bust. He's cocky and thinks he's better than he actually really is to be quit honest with you.

This is why he fell so far in the draft. If he were supposed to be a team saviour like a Manning or Palmer or something...he wouldn't have been passed up by the raiders ..etc.

He will be another Tim Couch so get ready to get the first pick in a few years to find yourself another QB.

The chances are slim to none, and slim just left the building.

Remember that this is a guy who won ZERO, that's right zero bowl games while at Notre Dame. On top of that he won no big games. His biggest props was almost beating USC two years ago.

He is an over-rated QB because he played for ND and was taught by Weis for two years. Remember that he was recruited by Willingham, a coach the Irish ran out of town because they said he couldn't evaluate talent or get a big win.

Sorry Browns fans, I have nothing against your team, but he is not going to be a savior for you

I could see him driving his teammates in a couple buses he rented out and having them tailgate outside the SB's stadium. Then they could play the Raiders the night before the SB inside and whoever wins that game gets the #! pick for the 2008 draft. Call it the Toilet Bowl or something of that ilk. Actually, that would be a fun idea. I could see Vegas putting up lines on the over- under of missed tackles and turnovers.
