The super bowl this year? They have a new QB under their belt and they still have Leftwich. They have the best running duo in the NFL, Jones-drew and taylor, and some of the best WR's.

I have been fishing for about 35 years I started back when my dad was stationed in Turkey,Cigli Air Base in Izmir Turkey. Dad and I fished in Izmir Bay right in back of base/post housing beyond the 360 degree perimeter fence. I was probably in early grade school. And we didn't have a boat but I have fished out of a boat in about 300 feet or more of icy cold water in Puget Sound in Seattle Washington state. But most of my (99.99 % has been off some kind of fixed platform). In Izmir it was off a bank. In Oklahoma it was in a lake off a rocky bank under some trees, or off a bank near a reservoir, in Virginia it was off a pier or a point in WA state it was off a "Lock" or a pier in New Hampshire or off periwinkle covered rocks. The point is that not everyone can afford a boat and really not everyone wants a boat i.e. PFD's,operating the boat, needing a bilge pump, boating rules of the road etc. I am thinking about having a fishing show from the "bank",or a bridge, or a pier etc. Email me.

A co-worker is retiring and moving back home to Guatemala. Guatemala is one of those silly countries which doesn't allow its citizens to own guns in military calibers, Thus, he has to 'unload' several of the 'toys' he's acquired during his stay here. He'd already sold his SKS to another co-worker for $75.00, but when I talked to him he offered me an M1 Carbine for $150.00 which I immediately snapped up. It is, according to the barrel markings, an Underwood produced in January of '43 and came with a sling and oiler, one 15 - and two 30 -round magazines. and a 50-round box of Lake City military surplus ammunition (which I immediately used up sighting in and target shooting). The metal is fairly worn, and the stock is in pretty rough shape, but I understand M1s are getting a little uncommon so I reiterate my question:

Did I get a good deal?

Should off field actions be considered when electing new members into the Pro Football Hall of Fame?

I say most definitely.

Michael Irvin had OK numbers as a WR. Certainly not as good as others who are not in the HOF. That being said his off fields troubles should have removed him from any consideration in the HOF. His induction is an insult to all current members of the HOF.

around 42,000 with standing room. It looks way roomier than Fenway Park. Are the seats wider? The bleacher seats look fun, could someone give me a rundown on it. The stadium looks way more symmetrical than Fenway and it appears in photos that most people can see the action reasonably well. How pricey are the tickets? Is the atmosphere on gameday similar to Fenway? I'm from Seattle, so I'm only used to Safeco.

Yes he's a really good player, and he's tough and he's lasted a long time. Very consistant, but has he been dominant? Unhittable? Smoltz HOF yes, Maddux HOF yes, Glavine? He's 1 win away from 300 wins, the benchmark for pitchers. Retire his number definatley, but hall of fame I'd vote no.

I have to climb a rock wall with no staps to hold me up. I have not a lot of upper body strenght. I really don't want to humilieate myself by not being able to do it. ARE THERE ANY TRICKS THAT WILL HELP ME CLIMB A ROCK WALL?
