Depends on what surface. They are okay on sand but not on rocks. On rocks use sturdy boots or if your more agile, trainers.
Thanks

Some kind of shoe or flip flop is smart because we dont always know what we may step on out there in or around the water we fish!

Wear flip flops. And don't forget when you fish at the beach go into the water knee high deep to improve your casting distance.

I wowuld probably wear your shoes to this one, also make sure that if you are fishing at the beach that the waters are calm. Because if there are too many waves coming in then there is probably no chance of catxxhing a fish there. Ok thnks 4 ur time.

I always go bare footed. Of course that's fishing on the Redneck Riviera where the water is like 80 deg. I would where insulated chest waders on the west coast. That waters just plain cold.

the appropriate line i've got ever used is braid. that's somewhat stable and does not rot interior the solar like nylon lines do. that's extra costly yet properly well worth the money. Whats extra, you ought to use diverse weights on it. while i replaced into interior the Gambia, I caught a 90lbs sting ray making use of braid, had I been making use of nylon line, this would have snapped.

try wearing crocs, im not a big fan of them, but the strap on back will hold the shoe in place, and they let your feet air out like filp-flops
