Well it was when Zaheer came in to bat that he found Jelly Beans on the pitch where he was taking his guard and he just kicked them of the pitch and started focusing on his batting however he found another set of jelly beans later on in the innings and he thought it was thrown from the slip quardon and he looked back at the slips and at that moment Kevin Pietersen was looking at him and he thought it was him who was throwing the jelly beans however later england claimed that during the drinks break when a wicket had fallen they had eaten Jelly Beans and tehy might have fallen on the ground .this happened when Zaheer called the umpire during the first innings however now the england captain has apologised to Zaheer.another thing was that i think that someone told to the match referee that Matt Prior the england wicket keeper was talking things from behind the wicket to unsettle the batsman at the crease however the England coach told it may be possible that he was talking to the fielders and appealed to the referee to tell to Sky Sports to reduce the stump mike volume regarding the fuss

THE REAL STORY BEHIND THE JELLY BEANS

In county cricket, bowlers are known to use sugary candies and sweets to alter the condition of the ball, to make it heavy on one side so that it could wobble in the air.

Zaheer made the ball talk on the first day - a wet, wid day when the conditions were favourable for swing bowling and England slumped without a fight.

The jelly beans in Nottingham were therefore an attempt to needle Zaheer with the implication that his performance on day 1 was not entirely legitimate.

During Indian innings when Zaheer Khan came to bat, he found some belly beans lying in the crease. The removed those belly jeans and concentrated in his batting. However, he again foun d the belly jeans in the crease and knew that some England fielders have thrown the same in the crease. He had altercation with Kevin Pietersen as Zaheer Khan thought that Pietersen has thrown the same.

Dont think it "represented" anything...just some England player's idea of a joke. Perhaps they should concentrate on practicing more instead of schoolboy pranks.
