Now, my question is, WILL IT HELP ME GAIN MUSCLE? If yes, what part of the body.

If so, how many times a week and how many minutes/hours a day should I go on it if I want to have muscles?

I do not think this question has been asked yet in the hockey forum, so I thought I would take the podium on it.

With all the great triumph we as hockey fans have witnessed in our lives, there has been terrible tragedy that has come along the way. The qesution I pose to everyone here is, in your opinion, what has been one of the saddest tragedies that has befallen the hockey world?

For me, it would be the September 11, 2001 deaths of Los Angeles Kings scouts Ace Bailey and Mark Bavis. Learning of the terrorist attacks was horrible, naturally. Finding out that those two men were among the thousands killed in the ambush (simply, that was what it was) was painful. The Kings dedicated their 2001-02 season to those men, who were not only good at their jobs, but good men as well.

Share some of what you deem are the worst hockey tragedies of all time.

I remember feeling very happy about it. I was a white teenager, and it didn't bother me at all that Aaron was breaking Babe Ruth's record. The stories you hear about Aaron's racial harassment were true, but most people enjoyed his pursuit (in stark contrast to what's happened with Bonds).

I remember the anticipation leading up to it. Getting stuck at 713 at the end of the 1973 season. Immediately hitting #714 at the beginning of the 1974 season. The controversy over whether he should be held out of games until the Braves played at home. That exciting Monday night game when he hit it on national television. The cover of the next Sports Illustrated with Aaron proudly holding the ball up in the air for all to see.

I would like to nominate whoever announced the Cubs-Mets game as the absolute worst announcers to ever grace baseball. Not only did they not add anything to the game, their comments were actually unintelligent. They are just proof that you don't have to know anything about baseball to be a baseball announcer. These guys actually made Joe Carter sound like a decent announcer.

I know I know, there are more interesting topics to be talking about. But with every other team in that division either standing pat (Toronto and NJ, both playoff teams), or getting stronger in some way (Knicks land Randolph, Boston gets Ray Allen and KG), you have to figure the Sixers will probably be a bottom feeder again this year. But within 3-4 years all of those teams, except maybe Toronto will be old, worn-out, and probably terrible. Will Philly be back to stay in that amount of time, by that I mean a top 3 playoff team in the East?

With teddy long having his wedding on smackdown, obviously they have planned for something bad to happen. What do you think will happen? I think someone will probably come out of the locker room and say they are sleeping with krystal

One thing I can't stand to see on WWE is when they have a man wrestle a woman. Especially when the guy is someone who has a tremendous size, strength and weight advantage. Whether it is a regular match or a situation where a man drags a woman into the ring. I know the whole thing is staged and every effort is made to minimize injury, but one of the few values that I hold near and dear is that a man should never hit a woman. When they show this, especially if it involves the woman being needlessly brutalized, I just need to change the channel until it's over. It's just in really bad taste.

Another thing that bugs me (although not to the point of having to change the channel) is when they do something that messes with people's religion. I'm not religious myself, but I think that when McMahon started his own religion based on worshiping him and HHH's 'King of Kings' bit are also in bad taste.

year, and this year he is only batting, .296, with 131 hits, 31 doubles, 18 home runs, 74 runs scored and 42 rbi's. Lou Piniella doesn't know where to put this guy in the line-up. It seems when I read the box score every morning in the paper, he was batting leadoff, or 3rd or 4th or 5th. I mean, come on Lou, this guy was brought in to hit 40 home runs and drive in 120 rbi's. He isn't going to get those kinds of numbers batting lead off. Why would anyone want to pay a leadoff hitter 17 million per season? Maybe Ichiro is worth it, but he doesn't even make that kinda cash, he's in the 12 million range, and he's the only guy I can think of who is worthy of this kind of contract. The Cubs are playing well this year, i'm not going to argue with that. But, why not move Soriano to the 3rd slot or bat him clean up, so he can get his power numbers up. 42 rbi's on August 5th, that's pitiful. Right now he's on a pace to hit like 25 home runs and 70 rbi's, that's not good.

The stop playing the cell-dwellers and actually play some good teams (i.e. Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, and even Baltimore is better then what they have been playing). Follow that up with a series with the Red Sox. IMO they are pretty much done for. They will not be scoring at the torrid pace against good pitching staffs, which 3 of those 4 teams have.

Surely the most boring game ever invented. If it wasnt for the extent of the empire in days gone by noone else would play it. Far too long without anything actually happening, tea breaks, and nonsensical rules where a draw is determined by weather seemingly.Does anyone without a double barrelled surname actually watch this nonsense.
