Surely the most boring game ever invented. If it wasnt for the extent of the empire in days gone by noone else would play it. Far too long without anything actually happening, tea breaks, and nonsensical rules where a draw is determined by weather seemingly.Does anyone without a double barrelled surname actually watch this nonsense.

I'd rather eat my own feceas than watch cricket. In fact, I am feeling quite peckish.

It's a very tactical game, played as much in the mind as with the bat and the ball and it can be very exciting. I would agree with you that 4 day county games watched by a few old buffers in panamas and county ties is a bit out of touch for most people, but one day games and twenty twenty are fast moving and exciting, and there is a result in most games unless there has been a huge amount of rain. I personally find football boring in the extreme, there is nothing cerebral about watching a load of overpaid yobs try to kick a ball into a net without mussing their hair up. PS I have not got a double barrelled surname.

What a very sad person you are !!! Well done for stringing together a few sentences one after the other. People who think cricket is boring dont play or watch the game. Thankfully due to the commonwealth it is one of only a handful of truly global sports with an ever increasing number of countries taking part.
twenty20 cricket is fast and furious. Perhaps you should try watching this first and you may grow to like the other forms as millions have done before you.

Yes I do and I thoroughly watching. i go to watch Somerset play in Taunton, about 1 1/2 hours from where I live. I know in Test Matches it is quite a long time until something happens, but in ODI's, (One Day Internationals) and Twenty20 matches there are always loads of runs, wickets, and it is less boring. I like watching short games, but I would definatley rather play than watch. The rules are good, and the weather is always annoying. But appart from that, I love to watch, and play cricket!!

All the people who said cricket was a boring game it`s just cause you can`t play the game and have nothing else to do but try to put down a game that requires great skill and natural talent.Because if you had to face a ball even 130km you`ll either get knocked out or absolutely bowled and you`d pull and spain your arm if you had to try bowl.So all you loser`s that critisize cricket it`s just because you can`t play it and you don`t have the skill due to the fact you`re worthless untalented and useless.

It isn't that bad at all. I watch cricket alot although I'll admit I can't watch a test match all the way through. The reason it is such a slow paced game is because people would play it for a bit of fun for a while during the summer.
It is way better playing it than watching it though.

I think u better not argue coz cricket is a game which is only for winners and not for real losers like u.............I guess u r to small or ur brain is so small to understand the rules which seem for u as if they r nonsensicaland that is why i think u feel it is boring just try to put in a lot of effort so that ur brain becomes big or u become that big to understand the nonsensical rules

If you dont understand the game it is boring. I can understand why you would find it boring though. If you knew how fit you actually needed to be to play it though. It is probably one of the most complex games due to technique, physics of bowling a ball, timing etc.

its different people's choices, some people like cricket some people like football some people like tennis etc.... each & every people likes different types of games.... if they understand a game & if they feel its intresting then they will follow that particular game which's intresting for them...
for an exapmle i love both football & cricket, at my home ground we play both the games first we start with cricket then when there is a big set of our guyz coming when the clouds r turning dark we divide 3-4 groups & play football.... both the games r really very very intresting to play.... we never miss... we celeberate our selves with crakers & stufs for both the games played btwn different countries or diferent places....
& cricket is not a bad game braw... its very intresting too, but only if u can understand the game...

You obviously don't have the mentality to understand the strategy of such a game. Its complicated and perhaps a little too much for your small brain to comprehend. It can be an exciting afternoons sport, both watching and playing and is enjoyed by thousands of inveterate fans all over the world.
