Faroukh Engineer is an Wicket Keeper Batsman and not the Bowler. If SF Barenes was from England then there was a chance that he is the person who take 10 Wickets in an Innings for the First time and not the Anil Kumble.

J.C. Laker of England was the first man to take 10 wickets in an innings.
He took 10 wickets for 53 runs in 51.2 overs in an innings conceding 53 runs in the Test Match between England and Australia played at Manchester on 26th July, 1956.
Though Anil Kumble of India achieved the same feat of taking 10 wickets in an innings, he was the second bowler to do so, as he had taken 10 wickets on 4th February, 1999 against Pakistan at Delhi.
