Are you falling on your head due to bent arms or because your hands are thrown out too far back to support your handstand? Try these drills to clean it up: http://geocities.com/aescougarcheer/basics.htm#td Also read the articles listed belows the drills, and watch the tutorial.

Make sure your throwing your arms hard. I'm a coach and I find that nine times out of ten, girls don't swing their arms hard enough, and the speed of the arm swing determines how good the backhanspring. Speed up your arms and you'll land at an angle, and you want to land at an angle b/c landing straight upside down puts way to much pressure on your arms. Hope that helps.

well u need to jump more, by pushing ur feet down and fastly swing ur arms back. when they touch the ground, try to make ur feet land away from ur arms. to lock ur arms & legs, just keep them straight. and don't be afraid!!!! just think, once u get it, u'll laugh bcuz u thought u we're afraid of something u can now do! but try not to think about it that much, and practice on mats and/or trampolines
