Hey everybody. I'm looking to get a decent handgun for myself and there are two handguns in the price range I'm looking for. The place I'm going to (J&G in Prescot, AZ) has both S&W Sigma 40F's and Ruger P85 MII's in the same price range on police trade-in in VG condition.

Now I had the S&W Sigma 40F before and it was not a bad gun, in 600 rounds it only jammed once and that's because the ammo was poor quality. I liked the .40 round but I can handle 9mm's better; this gun also seemed to feel too light for my taste as the clip was emptied...

Is the Ruger P85 a superior handgun in all respects? It has the same capacity but in 9mm, and Ruger has more experience with autoloaders (or so it seems to me)...I also like the look of these as opposed to the Sigma.

Should I go with what I know or is the Ruger going to be a better choice?

In case you don't know (I just found out today), track standing is a term used when you are at a standstill on a bicycle. It is used when track cyclists are about to begin a race and are getting into position.

1- This happened my wife in a Long Island Beach-at NYC . My wife is a superb swimmer (she was in a swimming team many times.) She wanted use a floatation device just for fun...And a lifeguard came up to her and told her that she can not go into ocean with that....Because it does not appear to be Coast guard approved...

What is your opinion? Can we have fun without being harrased by lifeguards? Dont get me wrong I respect lifeguards for keeping kids and everyone safe but isnt this a little overboard? Where is the limit? I am curious...

I know Aaron Brooks isn't very good but he had some decent years in New Orleans. He was dealed a shitty hand in Oakland. No quarterback could have been good in Oakland last year. I think Brooks would be better than Joey Harrington. Brooks is mobile. The Falcons said they have no interest in Daunte Culpepper.

I sometimes make my own wwe wrestling thing. I am the wwe champion and got drafted to smackdown. Does that mean i lose the title. I know bobby lashley got his title stripped but that is an ecw title and not wwe right? Does that mean you have to be on raw to be wwe champion then.

He had the NL MVP, But Craig Biggio was a better second baseman during his era. He also plays horrible defense. he also had to speed.

If A-Rod keeps his amazing season going, at the end of the year, he will have over 20 more homeruns than the great Frank Thomas. Frank Thomas is 39 and has played 18 seasons. A-Rod will turn 32 tommorrow and has played 14 seasons already. Does this mean he is on pace to crush the new homerun record that Barry Bonds will most likely set?
