Like a couple people said, the Yankees have been blessed with an incredibly easy schedule over the past 3 weeks
Your last 16 games have included 8 games against the Devil Rays, 4 against the Royals, and 4 against the Blue Jays. The favorable scheduling continues as you guys get the White Sox, Orioles, and Royals again coming up.
But just wait until the middle of August when you gotta play 3 vs Cleveland, 7 vs Detroit, 3 vs the Angels, and 3 vs the Red Sox
The only thing the Red Sox should be worried about is that the Yankees are essentially playing a bunch of minor league teams for the past 3 weeks and for the next 2 weeks

As a red sox fan, i've been loving this season, but in the back of my mind i know that the yankees are the yankees, which means it isn't over till it's over. I think we can still win the division, but that doesn't mean the yankees won't give us a run for our money. I'm not worried so far that the yankees are winning because they are winning against tb and kansas, so as long as the red sox keep winning, i think we will be all set.
p.s. can someone please tell me why everyone thinks jeter is so great? I won't deny that he's attractive, but he's also a jerk!

I am no Yankee fan, I think yankee will get closer in the standing, I will stay at boston Red sox back door all sesion. This is the Red Sox best sesion in a long timed. Probley Since Babe Ruth Era.

So what if the Yankees have an easy schedule. the Royals took 2 out of 3 at FENWAY the other week. Yankees have been on a surge right now. I don't care how good Boston or Detroit is right now, cause when the Yankees come to town, everyone wants 2 watch.

Don't get cocky. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard yankee fan. But you can't act like that 6.5 games back. Wait till the series at the end of August to see how the yanks are doing. In my mind, I don't care what the Yankees do as long as the win the World Series. If they win the division and don't win the World Series, I'll be upset.

i think they just a little scared but not much because yeah they have a 6.5 game ahead of the Yankees i think they Yankees are doing great so far and if they can keep it up then they will make the postseason

I would be very suprised if the Yankees didn't move closer in the standings. It has been very nice to be in first place the entire season, but you can never count the Yankees out. There is still a lot of baseball to be played. Mike Lowell still needs to run over Robinson Cano a few more times!!!

I don't think that the Boston Red Sox fans are that sacred. I am a Yankees fan... I think that if the Yankees take first place then they will be sacred..
