The easiest way to answer this question is to just look at performances over the past few seasons. this season he is again in the wickets as he seems to be every year, perhaps the pace is not so fast these days but this seems to be made up by experience.
As long as he does his job, that is gets wickets then age will not really matter.

No , he still takes wickets regularly for Somerset in county championship and one dayers.
Although he is still keen to play international cricket , I think in the higher form of the game he has had his day , and he did put in some pretty good performances at his best .

No way. He is still a fantastic bowler - just look at his figures for this season. He has been one of the best bowlers in the country this season and his age is probably the only thing keeping him out of an England shirt.

Well judging by his adamant claims that he is still the number 1 bowler in England, clearly not, but he is still a good player I believe. He's done well to maintain his fitness.
