Aaron Brooks sucked here in N.O. Only guy that like him was Haslett. All the fans hated him, b/c he sucked and laughed after he throws ints.
If Atlanta had any sense they would have kept Schaub, and traded Vick. I said that before he even got in trouble.

Honestly, I think either Daunte Culpepper or Aaron Brooks would be a better fit in Atlanta than Joey Harrington. Harrington is just a good college quarterback that could not make the Pro level transition. I was never really a big fan of Aaron Brooks but while in New Orleans he had consistency. I think Culpepper would be a better fit, because he is a bigger guy that has the arm strength like Vick's.

Signing Brooks would be a waste. He was a very talented QB at one time, but his confidence is shot. I don't know if it was bad coaching while still with the Saints or what, but he lost his ability to lead years ago.
If the Falcons were smart, they'd go after Culpepper. What would they have to lose? He's still only 30 and they could sign him pretty cheap to an incentives laiden deal since he's coming off 2 years lost to injury. And if he's healthy, they have a shot at getting a guy who just 3 years ago rivaled Peyton Manning during his record breaking year of throwing 49 TDs. Start with Joey Harrington, but bring in Culpepper and see what he can do. And if he is healthy and Harrington struggles or the team struggles, you have a guy who was one of the top QBs in football just a few years ago.

I don't think so. I think they will stick to Joey Harrington. They just picked him up in the off-season, in case something happened to Vick(like an injury). If they would of wanted Brooks instead they would have picked him up then. Also Harrington is younger than Brooks, making him a better choice for the future.

It does make sense on paper, but who knows if Brooks is even in playing shape right now? Also, I don't know that I would trust him to come in and start right away. I think they're gonna stick with harrington for the time being.

If they need a water boy Brooks would be the guy. Anything more is totally out of the question.

he was sopose to report to steelers camp for day 1, did some pre camp work outs, but left before due to the possiblity for making falcons team. he would be much better for the way Atl runs there O than Joey.
he will be on the roster shortly

First Brooks isnt that good, second with him being Vicks cousin that might not be a smart move, what if he was involved, what if Vick is found Not Guilty and then you have bad blood between relatives.

There are some extremely stupid people in the Falcons hierarchy, but I don't think they are that stupid. Brooks may be mobile but mobility doesn't cancel out total worthlessness.
