Montoya never even put a full year into the Busch series before moving to Cup. He should be demoted and not allowed in Cup until he can prove he can control his car and not wreck people. Huffman was let go due to bad mid season review, but Montoya's car owner keeps him around when all he does is wreck himself and other drivers?

so i was driving one early morning and there was radio talk. i usually dont listen to those, but this one was on barry bonds, so i figured, why not? the story was about how one of the pittsburgh pirates groundscrewman was in a very bad accident and was hospitalized. the team decided to have a ball signed by some big name players and they asked barry, of course, him being an ex pirate....he refused to sign...i'm pretty sure its not that hard to sign unless i guess you have too much "cream" on your hands and cant hold a pen..anyone else got anymore stories of bonds making a complete a** of himself?

Me and some friends were watching the hotdog eating contest on DVR yesterday and the announcer said the following...
"This would be the greatest moment in the history of American Sports if Chestnut could pull this off!"
and
"Chestnut is a true American hero!"

Are you joking? Does this guy even know of sports called BAseball, basketball, or football?? Obviously not since he thinks that was the greatest moment in sport history. What a LOSER!!

I know he was fun to watch and had an impressive .318 career average, but his OBP was only .360 and he barely cracked 200 homers. And while injury curtailed his career, I'm not sure how much more he would have done given that he was already 35 years old. Great hitter for average, not much patience at the plate. Gold Glove in CF, but no MVPs or truly monster seasons.

I'm on the fence....I'll give the points to whoever can convince me one way or the other. And please, make arguments better than "he was awesome" or anything based on a play he made in a game you happened to watch.

I work at a major league ball park and every morning I walk past the clubhouse and there is a sign posted on the door saying that only male family members are allowed to gain access. Is that an official MLB rule or is it something that is just enforced at this specific park? Does anyone know the specifics on female family members? Women of the media? Is it a superstitious thing?
