so i was driving one early morning and there was radio talk. i usually dont listen to those, but this one was on barry bonds, so i figured, why not? the story was about how one of the pittsburgh pirates groundscrewman was in a very bad accident and was hospitalized. the team decided to have a ball signed by some big name players and they asked barry, of course, him being an ex pirate....he refused to sign...i'm pretty sure its not that hard to sign unless i guess you have too much "cream" on your hands and cant hold a pen..anyone else got anymore stories of bonds making a complete a** of himself?

The question should be:
Everyone raise your hands who'd think Balco Barry would actually do something nice for someone else?
I think you'd see less hands in the air.

The story sounds a bit odd, mostly because there's very little love lost between Barry and the Pirates. While Bonds's actions in the anecdote seem within character, I can't imagine anyone from the Pirates even making the request. Practically the entire front office has changed in Pittsburgh since he left, and those lower down the totem pole - groundskeepers and the like - are not the sort of people Bonds ever would have befriended.

Oh my. Well, I can't say I'm the slightest bit surprised, considering how much of an asshat Barry "my head has gained 25 lbs. in the last 10 years but I didn't use steroids" Bonds is. The groundscrewman is better off having a ball signed by players who actually love the game anyway.

It no mystery that Barry Bonds is not a "people person." He doesn't like talking to the media, the public and he no longer part of the MLB Players Association. If you not in his circle of trust then your not getting an autograph.

I'd take that story with a grain of salt. I don't know if any human could say 'no' to that situation. My intuition tells me that there was more to Barry's reasoning not to sign the baseball. Then again, maybe Barry is a Robot.

I as quickly as studied with a lama (Tibetan Buddhist) who claimed that persons might desire to attain the skill bypass by using partitions and that some overly ambitious human beings might try this and get caught or caught 0.5-way by using. in my opinion, i do no longer think this yet i do no longer stay in a shamanic lifestyle wherein such ideas--and eye witness comments of such events--are rampant.

.Yeah, his a** comments about Hank Aaron after passing Ruth a while ago. He doesn't care abut anyone but himself. And Hank could care less about him cause he knows his record is legitimate.
