Someone who can't admit the truth or take blame on his part. He's always right, he's perfect, never does anything wrong. He's a great driver, but needs an attitude adjustment.

The kind that has not been winning and is jealous. The kind that thinks he is superior to every other driver. The kind that thinks he will "show this little punk a lesson," even early in the race, even in the corner, even to a team mate. The kind that knows that a left front under a right rear will lift the rear tires and loosen the rear wheels and make the lead car slow down. The classic Dale Earnhardt pick move. The kind that should be told by JGR the he needs to sit out the next race.

Amethyst and Big Rick summed it up.
I have been a Stewart fan since he was a rookie. The guy can drive anything and win with it. I think he is hands down the most talented driver of our time. The wreck this Saturday was unavoidable. Hamlin let off on a track where everyone stays wide open. Stewart had no place to go. Hamlin said it, Stewart said it, even the announce team said it. Nobody can argue that fact.
Stewart has a hot temper and I can't say I blame him. He said some regretable things but as far as I could tell he spoke the truth, it just lacked tact.

There are truly a gaggle of motives. a million.) He has greater proper kit with chevy 2.) He might join Stewart Haas Racing however the hendrick drivers evaluate him one in each and every of there very own and the bigger the race team the greater drafting companions you have. 3.) At Joe Gibbs he had an above straightforward group yet now he has an incredible All celeb group. 4.) final 365 days he crashed alot yet this 365 days he's been warding off each and every of the crashes. and 5.) This 365 days he's have been given adventure and he has greater help. And on your 2d question i'm ninety 5% particular that he will win the championship. in actuality the only way he does no longer win a championship is that if he completely messes up and Jimmie/Jeff win 2 or 3 greater races. it truly is attainable yet no longer likely.

Basically he made a mistake. I really don't think he wanted Denny or himself to crash, but he accidently bumped Denny in the wrong place, or bumped him too hard, or something, and they went flying into the wall. Then, he was mad and upset about crashing, and with a microphone shoved in his face before he gets a chance to cool off and look at a replay, he blew off some steam.
My grandpa told me that this kind of stuff has been going on in NASCAR since he started watching it. So it's no different. We all just think it is because Tony Stewart had some attitude problems when he first came into NASCAR, and a lot of people seem to be convinced that he's just some horrible person who wants to plow down everyone who gets in his way.
As for who caused the crash, I don't think we're ever going to know, because it seems we've all viewed it differently. Although I do want to lean towards it was more Denny's fault, just because he admitted to it.

The press create a lot of this when they stick a microphone and a camera in the driver's face after a crash. They are hoping for a story. Tony never lets them down. He should just say no comment and the incident would not be as big.

Over the years, Tony Stewart has shown that he can drive. I don't know what's come over him lately, but his desperation to win another championship has made him make some bonehead moves and statements.
He's a bigger jerk now than he has ever been, and I strongly suspect it is because he feels the clock ticking and his time running out.
To answer the question as to what kind of driver Tony Stewart is, I would have to say desperate and reckless.

Talk about teammates, how about Johnson and Gordon not helping Busch at the end of the race, they could have gotten him the win. It took his brother to come up from another team to help him out.
Stewart was just heated from the wreck, I am sure he is fealinng the frustration of not winning a points race this year despite good finished.

That wreck wasn't caused by any driver. It was, as most wrecks on Super Speedways, caused by the restrictor plate.
Tony would have been wiser to take the opportunity to bad mouth the plate instead of Hamlin.
He has a bad habit of complaining about "phantom" problems while ignoring the real problems.
The plate, boys and girls, causes drivers to do things they ordinarily wouldn't do in a racecar. They are forced to ignore their instincts like lifting when they should or blocking when they shouldn't.
When it comes to what NASCAR considers dangerous speeds on Super Speedways, they did the cheap and easy fix. Smokey Yunick was right, when it comes to plate races, NASCAR has "their head up their a**"!

I'd speak like that too, team mate or not. Its obvious when a driver crashes, they tend to talk in the heat of the moment and thats when they end up putting their foot in their mouths, but it does make for interestings sound bites, but I am starting to think that the media should stand clear of Tony until he has time to calm down LOL. I was ticked off too I was mad at Denny for losing it, if he can't take the bump drafting he shouldn't of been behind someone that knows how to for the most part and I like Denny too LOL.

He was angry because he just crashed. It's pretty simple. When you lose the chance to win a race, you're going to be pissed off. He was blowing off steam and anything he says can't really be taken too seriously. As far as his issues, he has some anger management issues and everyone knows that. However, I'm not going to get on his case because he was mad after he wrecked. Any driver would be.
