I played volleyball non stop yesterday for 6 hourse and my butt and thighs are sore from being in basic volleyball position (squatting for those of you who don't play ). I have to play for another 6 hourse today , tomorrow, and the day after that. Any tips for curing sore muscles?

how do i know i heard a gunshot instead of something else like a fire cracker...i wanna know because i wanna know for sure that i heard a gunshot before calling the cops or anything if it ever happens....I'm up late at night and I've been hearing weird things like at 2 3 in the morning and this night i heard something that sounded like gun shots....but i wasn't sure....but anyways....are there any distinct features from a gun shot?...please help

i think its stupid to see lowes try to buy there wins because he came from a lower division and didnt win crap but then he comes to the cup and all of a sudden dominating the tracks. they must be getting bankrupt for all the races they've bought. its just a disgrace to see that.

I have listened to the whole steroids issue long enough to come up with my own perspective.....Why is Bud Selig trying make Barry Bonds the scapegoat and not taking responibilty in some way about players using performance enhancing drugs like Steroids, Meth, HGH and so on? This could of been avoided a long time ago if the MLB put in a drug testing policy like the NFL a long time ago! Granted it was wrong for players to use them but if it was more of a don't as then don't tell policy! Barry Bonds is a great player Period!!! I have watched the guy for years and steroids does not help a person see a ball better or decide which pitch there going to swing for! I think what Bonds did was wrong but nobody says anything about the pitcher's Bonds was facing and how they could of been juiced up as well! Bonds has a a#@ like quality about himself but he is no different from the 100's of other players that took them but there not going to hit 755 with or without Roids! Give the guy his do!

I LOVE Tony!! and after his interveiw there seemed to be real tention between him and Denny not only because of the wreck(which I think was Denny's fault he slowed way down going into turn 4)but seemed something was brewing!!!

I watched a program on pbs tonight that showed hunters killing bears. They have scopes on their rifles that can point blank a bear between the eyes. This is legal. I feel it's MURDER. I'm planning a 340 mile pittsburgh-to-D.C. bike trip along the allegheny/c&o canal bike trails, and i'm planning on camping most or all of the nights --- i'm getting a super lightweight tent to carry with me...

what advice do the experienced riders have for a newbie? the longest trip i ever made was 72 miles in a weekend when i was 13 from cumberland to DC... and it was a great time, so i want to do it again, only this time -- a longer trip, now that i'm 23.

advice for safety, morale, how to carry supplies (light backpack a bad idea in addition to bike pack? what sorts of bike packs are best for weight distribution and carrying things?), advice regarding safe diets, safe travel, and anything else you can think of as "basic" and important for me to know.

i want to leave in 2 weeks and i'm planning now. there's only so much time before i have to get a new job.

Well, I have been doing Taekwondo for aobut 5 years and am about to test for third degree black belt. I really dont do it as much for the fighting but really just to get good workouts and t ostay in shape. I'm just not sure if it realyl would help me in a real fight because we dont spar or stuff liek that full contact. Btw im really good at it but im just npot sure if it is really all it is cracked up to be...
