To ban cricket in India is like trying to ban people from breathing.
NO - cricket is what gives the population something to hold on to together.

Banning cricket is impossible.
On days when India plays, the government offices (as well as other offices) are blank.
I think it is more practical (than banning cricket) to fix india's games on Sundays or other public holidays .....

hmm,,, dear brother, here i wanna say that till the cricket is being played in this world, debating can't be banned, it seems impossible, there can be some restrication for media to debate on cricket and cricketer. But you can't stop ordinary people and fans on debating on cricket.
If this step is taken than there will be more debating on cricket in civillian circles...so it seems impossible, actually, totally impossible.
