My picks

1. Tony Stewart- Brash, opinionated, very american.

2. Jeff Gordon- The best known american driver, why not?

3. Marco Andretti- Third generation american in F1, cool.

4. Jonny Summerton- Would be proof that the A1GP would not be a waste of time.

5 Danica Patrick- Shock the heck of the F1 establishment.

im doing an assignment about the social and cultural features of the 1970s, yet cant find any information about sport in reference to this decade.
if someone could possibly describe what sport was like, which sports were most favoured or even give me some sites about sport in the seventies that would be kindly appreciated.

I know this seems like a silly question, BUT Seattle is only a game behind Cleveland in the wild card race. So, as a Indian fan, who are you rooting for?

Yes, we all know KC is not exactly a threat this year. But they have been known to be spoilers. Your thoughts?

I started in about 1992-93. I was young, and was a huge Bret Hart fan, and I also liked guys like the Macho Man, Undertaker, The HBK/Marty Jannetty fueds. (I wasn't watching when they were the Rockers, but the fueds were good). The best era imo was 1997-1999, and i'm sure that's probably when most people started watching. (WCW as well for that matter) but when did you start watching WWF/WWE and why?

I never seen him play, but so many people that I know that did say he was great. How would you say he would compare to the top running backs of today (like the ones who were in the last playoffs). Im trying to get a sense of how good Barry was. Would you even maybe say Barry Sanders is one of the greatest of all time.

I love Nascar so much and look forward to it every weekend, but when they take the weekend off, its like somethings missing to my weekend. My Sunday seems empty. Do you nascar fans feel the same way, or does it not matter to you!?

When I was a young whipper-snapper I needed 15 lb's of tackle to go catch a bunch of 2-5LB Bass. Since recently purchasing a new Kayak, I've "down-sized" to 2 small plano "insert" boxes & 1 "over-stuffed" worm bag.

Let's play "Name that Tune" I mean ,"Name that Lure"!

" I can win that tourney with one bag of worms & a 1/4 OZ spinner-bait".....(LOL)

(er....the younger folk won't get my "Name that Tune" reference. So, "younger folk" just lol anyway!)

first let me tell you my story....

i got into hockey by catching a game three years ago on a replay. ever since i cant miss a game i've spent thousands of dollars (memorebilia, tickets, jerseys...etc) and i live and breathe for hockey. im not a bandwagon fan, i just never had the oppurtunity to get into it....

my question is, am i missing out cuz i missed the good ole days of hooking and holding and letting them fight...?

becuz in my opinion yes, i missed the past but i love what im seeing now. i wish i could see the "let 'em play..." but, i love that i see the occasional fight becuz they're so exciting. but it seems like the pre-lock out days there was a lot more.....

i dont know. i just dont want to feel bad becuz i've only been a fan for a few years....

I just wonder who everyone thinks will go winless this year. big names i mean. I predict Jr going winless, Kahne going winless, and Biffle going winless this year. Jr just isnt that good at all. Kahne...do i have to say. his whole team is just in the drain...he should be too. Biffle just seems to have bad luck.
