Yes, we all know KC is not exactly a threat this year. But they have been known to be spoilers. Your thoughts?

Don't make the mistake of taking KC lightly. They have had a great year offensively. They will be tough to beat. They can hit the tar out of the ball. I mean you guys are only 6-3 against them this year. Take out the sweep last month, and you were only .500 at that point.
They have talent. They just need pitching. With that, they would be a team that could get close to .500. But they won't.

I think they can. KC's organization is much-improved from top to bottom compared to last year (give them a few years to seriously compete, but this team's already got promise and potential) and Cleveland is tied for first. Coming fresh off the All Star break, KC will be fighting as hard as anyone---for respectability, more than anything else. Cleveland might be a bit complacent and lethargic at first.
So . . . I think KC will win 2 of 3, but not a sweep. It will be a wake-up call to the Indians, who will bounce back and proceed to get a playoff spot. Frequently good teams need minor humiliations to get it in gear.
Edit:
Has a coffee, sees the standings again. Arrrgh! :PPP

The great thing about baseball is that any day any team can win. While most will tell you no, they can't. It is certainly possible. Kansas City has beat the Indians three times so far this season, and the Indians have won three times. The Los Angeles Angels have a better record than the Indians, and the Royals have beat them 5 out of 7 games. It is certainly possible.

The Royals do tend to give us trouble. However we have Westbrook, CC, and Carmona going so I am confident will win at leat 2 out of 3. Last time CC pitched against the Royals he pitched a 4 hit shutout. I am hoping for that agian. Carmona went 6 innings and gave up 3 runs and I don't think Westbrook has pitched against them this year. If we were on the road I'd say we win 1 out of 3 or 2 out of 3 but i'm going to hope I don't jinx it and say sweep.

As you well know anything can happen in a short series. If they were playing in Kansas City I would give the Royals a shot because they have been playing well lately. However, playing in Cleveland the task at hand becomes much more difficult. I say the Royals win one of the three.

Cleveland lost their ultimate protecting participant (Jackson) and extraordinarily lots anybody has the flu. you will forgive me for calling you a retard in case you think of Cleveland will disillusioned green Bay. green Bay does no longer desire Jennings or maybe furnish for that count to conquer Cleveland. Getting adequate time to throw to Donald driving force will suffice against arguably between the worst communities interior the league. i visit furnish you the KC disillusioned, however, on account that San Diego's protection is basically approximately basically as undesirable as KC's D.

Possibly. But, I think the Inidians are refreshed. They had a much needed break (They were playing 20 game stretches w/o a break b/c the snow out). I know how the Royals can be a peky team. They lost 2 out of 3 to the Royals earlier in May I believe. As much as you would like it to happen. I don't think it is gonna be an isssue.

I doubt it man, I dont think KC could even take 2 out of 3 against my softball team. Okay, thats a little far fetched, but you get my point. The Royals stink.

Lets HOPE so!! :) I hope Friday the 13th is an unlucky one for the Tribe. hehe! ;) They're too close for comfort in our division. Man...was the ump' getting compensated by the Mariner's or what?! I was ticked! :( Then Pudge got thrown out. :( I hope we go out there today and play like the class A ball team we are and show that we OWN this division!!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIGERS! :D
