Sorry "John for PETA". I didn't explain situation. The only reason I would do it is if it attacks my chickens, alright?

I would use a 12ga shotgun with buckshot. That will take care of the fox quickly, and humanely. You don't even have to aim that precisely.

John for PETA probably forgets about anything he eats , wears, sprays on his body, gives his girlfriend for her birthday, paints his house with, cleans his toilet with or medicates himself with has been extensively tested on animals anyway.

And he comes here to berate hunters for cleanly shooting an animal dead, while he supports the same technology that tortures millions of animals to death in Laboratories just so we can safely use dyes in clothing, use shaving cream, fertiliser, bug spray, perfume, cologne, gasoline, other car products, toilet paper and anything else(that being 'everything else' in our lives) that needs its chemicals concentrated and tested to toxic levels on animals before release to the public.

Even those which claim not to be tested on animals hire third party research to get the same results for their products anyway, or use technology gained from previous torturers in the 20th century anyway.

In other words John is a hypocritical ********.

As to the fox, the bb will piss it off mostly and yes make it run away.

Probably work on John too, as long as you don't hit him in the head. Very thick...

330 fps would possibly break the skin, but not likely. if you have one or know someone who has one, use a .22 LR. it will kill the fox and if you want you can still get it stuffed and mounted the bullet will not destroy the pelt.
john from PETA, screw you.
i shot at a fox with my .22 magnum. we had 4 chickens before the raccoons found them and i also have a baby alpaca witch the fox would eat.
i would like to see you try to rip that gun from his hands; i hope he shoots your eye out.

and if you are thinking a pellet gun, then get one with at least 800 fps and use GAMO master points. i have killed countless birds and chipmunks with it.

live in western PA, and damn proud of it <((((><

That would be good if you're trying to teach it a lesson. It would live to raid a different chicken coop. Otherwise, if you can't borrow a rifle, you could trap it, but then you need to build/borrow a trap. Where I live you can rent different animal traps from the City for cheap.

the bb would just bounce off and it will sting it. just be careful if the fox is cornered it will turn on you and defend it's self aggressively
